Entries close 2 October 2026 (calendar year 1 November 2025 – 2 October 2026). Submit early to avoid disqualification for incomplete files. Confirm any Secretariat updates via info@arts.gov.zm.
Membership of your association must be fully paid-up. No separate entry fee is stated in the guidelines — confirm with the Secretariat.
Categories & what judges look for
Nine disciplines: Comedy, Community Theatre, Creative Writing, Fashion, Media Arts (Radio, TV, Film, Online), Music, Stage Theatre, Traditional Folk Dance & Music, and Visual Arts. Each has multiple awards.
Originality, creativity, technical skill, relevance to Zambian culture or lifestyle, and overall impact. Visual Arts must be original, not copied from photos. Media Arts in a non-Zambian language must have Zambian subtitles. Community Theatre is adjudicated on location (video only in exceptional cases).
